MeckGOP MISSION
The people who make up the MeckGOP operate under the simple belief that our children deserve better.
We want them to grow up in strong communities where families are valued. We want to leave them a government that operates efficiently and honestly but that also knows its limits. We want to leave them with less public debt, more freedom and more opportunities.
The mission of the MeckGOP is to begin building that better future for our children and our grandchildren right here in Mecklenburg County ... one voter ... one precinct ... one election at a time.
There are over 590,000 registered voters Mecklenburg County so we’ll need some help ... Specifically, YOUR help.
MeckGOP VALUES
The values that motivate your friends and neighbors who make up the MeckGOP center around four essential themes:
1) Fiscal Conservatism – We expect our elected leaders to be frugal and efficient with the dollars we give them.
2) Limited Government – There are limits both constitutionally and practically to what government can do and do well. We expect our elected leaders to respect those limits.
3) Strong Families & Strong Communities – Strong families and strong communities care for each other and protect each other in ways that can’t be replicated. When they fail, government is often tempted to fill the gaps, usually inefficiently and at the cost of our freedoms.
4) Honest Government – We expect our elected leaders to be honest, and we will not tolerate anything less, irrespective of their party identification.

If you are a Republican in Mecklenburg County, then whether you like it or not … YOU are the MeckGOP.
The determining factor for how well the MeckGOP succeeds in its Mission and Values doesn’t lie in DC or Raleigh. It rests with YOU and YOUR decision to be either an active participant with us or to leave our children’s future to those who don’t share our values.
