Fran Perez-Wilhite - Campaign Chairman

Fran Perez-Wilhite, a resident of Charlotte since 1991, is a Business Development Specialist with the NC Military Business Center. Previously, Fran held numerous management positions at Philip Morris USA where she had been employed for 13 years. Prior to this, she was a Lieutenant in the US Army at Fort Bragg from 1988 to 1990.

Ms. Perez-Wilhite graduated from Wake Forest University, where she earned a Master of Business Administration in 1997. She also attained a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Norwich University in 1988. She is a fellow and a former member of the Board of Directors for the NC Institute of Political Leadership.



Fran has served on numerous city and county committees and boards. She is most proud of her position as Chairwoman of the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Community Relations Subcommittee. Fran is married to Chuck Wilhite and shares joint custody of her mother’s English Setter dog
